Editorial policy
CNFans Sheet publishes reviews, comparison tables, spreadsheet discovery notes and shipping guides. Every scored review is based on an item the desk ordered with its own budget. We do not accept payment for a score, a table position or a place in a spreadsheet roundup, and we do not publish sponsored reviews.
Scores use a five-point scale: 5 excellent, 4 good, 3 adequate, 2 poor, 1 very poor. Hands-on scores run from 4.0 to 5.0. A review states what we ordered, what arrived, how long each agent stage took and how the item held up in use. Where a second order differed from the first, we say so in the review body and adjust only if the difference is material.
We keep our working records — order confirmations, QC photo sets, parcel weights, carrier receipts and timing logs — for two years. Editors do not write about items they have a personal stake in, and any such situation is disclosed in the review itself. Reader corrections are logged in the corrections register and, where they change a conclusion, the review is updated with a dated note.
